Whether you are in a cut-throat competition or just looking for a good hunting session, this optic can aid you in both areas!

Viper PST Gen II is made out of high-quality aircraft-grade aluminum. The same type of aluminum you see in much more expensive optics. The design of this optic is a single tube.

So, Vortex made sure to precisely purge the inside to eliminate any machine residue and make it immune to moisture as well. It is also fog and waterproof. O-Ring gaskets prevent water from getting inside and the glass repells water droplets.

3. Leupold VX-3HD 3.5-10x40mm Riflescope

How can you make a list of optics and not include Leupold? You just can’t. It doesn’t matter what gun you are using or the range you want to shoot at, Leupold will sneak in with a scope or two somehow. And I love them for that!

The final scope I want to recommend today is also from Leupold. Their VX series has always been a great alternative in the budget segment. Some of you are still a big fan of Vortex Strike Eagle and rightly so! That scope is also a great option in a similar price bracket.

But what sets Leupold VX-Freedom apart from the Strike Eagle is the maximum magnification and light management system.

VX-Freedom is made out of high-quality aluminum. A similar type of aluminum is used industry-wide. It’s CNC machined and not molded. To make it look premium Leupold used anodized coating instead of spray painting. The finish on this scope speaks for itself. As for the internals, they are purged as well.

Thanks to that, VX-Freedom is fogproof. To ensure no water leaks, the scope is well sealed as well. While you can use this during rainy weather, you shouldn’t submerge it or go underwater strolling.
